Scholar Athlete of the Year

Beginning in 2016-17, the Southern Arkansas Male and Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year award will be named the “Murphy USA Male and Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year” in response to Murphy USA’s continued support of Mulerider Athletics and their desire to promote academic success.

In order to be nominated for the Scholar Athlete Award, a player must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA, have completed at least 56 semester hours, with at least one semester at SAU.
