Hall of Fame

The Southern Arkansas University Sports Hall of Fame began in 2003 with an inaugural class of seven inductees. Each year, a new class of exceptional former student-athletes, coaches, and loyal contributors to Mulerider Athletics are selected for induction by an appointed hall of fame committee.   In order to be considered for the SAU Sports Hall of Fame, a student-athlete must be at least five years removed from their final year of competition at SAU while also having competed for at least two years in any given sport at SAU. For coaches, they must be inactive from coaching at SAU for at least five years as well. Meritorious and Outstanding Service nominees are considered on individual basis with dedicated service to SAU Athletics being of chief criteria.
